I moved from southern GA, about 2 hrs from tally. I live in Aventura & I love it. Yes some of the buildings do have bad reviews but there is a lot of changes happening. The schools are good, you have the big mall, so many parks, and the beach is literally a 5 minute drive to find parking. There are many 2/3 beds under 4k. Feel free to message me!

All people talking Aventura traffic is horrible are talking about Biscayne and 203rd St. If you live in Aventura you will avoid 80% of those streets at any given day. Having said that, if you are married and want a great place to live, Aventura is really good. If I were single, then maybe Miami Beach would be the case, even though traffic there is also bad when is Memorial Day, etc. I used to live in Edgewater, it is a good compromise if you want to be close to the good stuff and also within reach of beach and airport. Hope it helps.
