The best kept secret in Atlanta area is the rolling hills south Fulton county. Serenbe is a planned community if that type of thing interests you, then peachtree city has golf cart trails and started by pilots. You’re just as close to the airport as Johns Creek, and less traffic. Probably even easier to get to downtown.

THIS! South Fulton is booming! I was previously wondering why there were so MARTA bus stops along such a (then) very rural stretch of 138 between the BMW dealership and the Clayton line.
Downtown College Park/East Point/Hapeville also have great bones.
