Westlake Hills is one of the best places in Austin to grow a family and raise children! Having one of the best public school districts in the state, Westlake Hills has opportunities for children alike! I went K-12 here, and received such an amazing and long lasting education! Apart from that, the neighborhoods are clean, the restaurants have good food, and there are plenty of activities within the neighborhood! Boating on Lake Austin, shopping around The Village at Westlake, or golfing at the country club, there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy! Everything is so close too, the main highway, Loop 360, allows for quick and easy commutes to every part of town, with most of my frequent destinations only taking 15 minutes with traffic and 6 minutes without! I love that I have the opportunity to live in a place with great houses, great food, great people, great roads, and great overall life!

I like the community aspect of West Lake Hills because everyone was very willing to help out when needed. Something that needs to change in Westlake is that it is a bubble. People tend to think that the West Lake way of life is real, but we live a very sheltered life that can lead to some issues if we are never shown other ways of life. That said West Lake has amazing public schools, and is extremely safe.
