Old Town Leander
Empty Nesters, Artists & Long-Timers
Old Town Leander is the original heart of the city and has a small, tight-knit feel. There’s still a bit of a country-town vibe here, with older homes, local diners, and low traffic. But the area is changing fast with the addition of new mixed-use developments and the MetroRail station nearby.
You’ll find everything from historic cottages to newer townhomes popping up, and while walkability is still limited, the city is trying to revitalize this part of Leander into a true town center.

Bryson Neighborhood
Young Families & Community Seekers
One of the newer and trendier master-planned communities in Leander, Bryson, is a favorite among young families relocating from other states. It’s all about lifestyle here: neighborhood events, a stocked fishing pond, resort-style pool, playgrounds, trails, and a strong community vibe that’s very “get-to-know-your-neighbors.”
Most of the homes here were built post-2017, and the HOA is active in keeping the community engaged and well-maintained. It’s also close to the upcoming Northline development, giving it great long-term location potential.
