First Time Homebuyer Program (FTHB) Resources

Check out the First Time Homebuyer Program to find out if your household may be eligible to receive down payment and closing cost assistance through the First Time Homebuyer program, administered by KHRC with federal HOME funds. The staff will follow up via email with more information and next steps. If you are not eligible, our additional resources may guide you on your homebuying journey. Your information will be kept confidential and will not be shared outside of our organization.

The First Time Homebuyer program does not operate in Johnson County or within the city limits of Topeka, Lawrence, Wichita, or Kansas City. These areas administer their own federal HOME funds, which may or may not be allocated for first-time homebuyers.
