Launch Tennessee is expanding access to capital for Tennessee’s entrepreneurs. Directly investing in Tennessee’s next generation of startup founders and providing insight into Tennessee’s venture ecosystem, we help entrepreneurs and investors connect within our growing innovation economy.
InvestTN
- Move money into the ecosystem and off the sidelines by requiring founders to secure a minimum 1-to-1 private match — with goals of catalyzing $10 of private capital for every SSBCI dollar invested over the lifespan of the company
- Boost scalable businesses located in Tennessee that are well-suited for venture funding
- Support companies operating in industries that are driving the state’s growing economy
InvestTN is made up of three funds — the Regional Seed Fund, the Growth Fund, and the Multi Fund.

From grant-writing support to help landing funding, our commercialization team supports researchers as they take their ideas from lab to market. LaunchTN supports innovators and researchers in bringing their technologies from lab to market by providing commercialization resources, including proposal assistance, funding, and technology transfer support.
